LTCANI Response to Proposals for Health & Social Care Reform in Northern Ireland
The Long Term Conditions Alliance Northern Ireland (LTCANI) welcomes the opportunity to respond to the document 'Proposals for Health &
Social Care Reform'. As an umbrella group representing approximately 500,000 people with long term conditions in Northern Ireland we broadly
welcome the proposals, and in particular the commitment to a patient centred service. We believe that the duty to engage set out in the
earlier legislation is a vital step forward and we trust that there will be no dilution of that principle.
